This celebration of all things printmaking kicks off at Four Corners Brewing Co., where you'll get to create your own block print over a craft beer. Then the party gets inkier next door at The Cedars Union with live letterpress demos, a chance to collaborate on a surreal custom print by CU artists, and witness MASSIVE woodblock prints pressed by a commercial steamroller.
Start your print-filled day at Four Corners Brewing Co. (@fcbrewing) with a cold drink and LEGO printmaking by Leili Arai Tavallaei, then head to The Cedars Union for hands-on demos, collaborative print projects like UNREAL ASSEMBLY, and yes - GIANT woodblock prints rolled out live with a steamroller.
You will have the chance to shop limited-edition artwork from local university print clubs, and snap up zines, posters, and hand-pulled prints at accessible prices. Even better? You can enter to win one of the huge steamroller prints created by CU artists Zeke Williams, Desireé Vaniecia, and Alec DeJesus, with proceeds going to support The Cedars Union’s mission to uplift rising creatives in Dallas.
