Hyphen Space presents a multimedia group exhibition featuring five Dallas artists: Ari Brielle, Martha Elena, Christina J. Hahn, Joy Reyes, and Leili Arai Tavallaei. The exhibition, titled “To Be Altered” explores themes of womanhood and the transformative power of the collective. From new media work, soft sculpture, printwork, to multimedia collage, each artist brings an exquisitely raw perspective on how we are changed by our shared experiences and bonds to one another. “To Be Altered” is a celebration of the transformative power of friendship between women and the communities we uphold.

Hyphen Gallery is a contemporary art space in Dallas dedicated to showcasing emerging and established artists of color (POC) across diverse practices including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, ceramics, and mixed media. Under the curatorial vision of Christina Hahn, Hyphen Gallery centers cross-cultural narratives, amplifies underrepresented voices, and creates space for dialogue, community, and innovation. With a focus on immersive exhibitions, artist talks, and collaborative projects, Hyphen Gallery invites audiences to engage deeply with art that bridges cultures, challenges perspectives, and celebrates creative expression.
